Veraflox (pradofloxacin) Oral Suspension for Cats is the next step in veterinary antibiotic therapy for cats. It is approved for the treatment of skin infections (wounds and abscesses) in cats caused by susceptible strains of Pasteurella multocida, Streptococcus canis, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus felis and Staphylococcus pseudintermedius.
Veraflox flavoured tablets and Veraflox 2.5% oral suspension are indicated to treat a wide range of infections including skin and wound infections in dogs and cats, upper respiratory tract infections in cats, and urinary tract infections in dogs. In addition Veraflox flavoured tablets are approved as adjunct treatment to mechanical or surgical periodontal therapy to treat gingivitis and periodontitis in dogs.
